The Startup Leadership Program (SLP) has invited applications from startup founders and budding entrepreneurs for its next batch due to take place next month.
SLP is a highly selective, global, world-class training program and lifelong global network for grooming outstanding founders, leaders, and innovators who want to become startup CEOs. The program is currently operational in 27 cities across 12 countries.
The Hyderabad chapter of SLP which begins next month will shortlist 25 candidates for the programme which will span over 12 weekends in next six months. The topics covered by the programme would include Idea Validation, Financial Modelling, Intellectual Property, Legal, Marketing Strategies, Competitive Positioning, Pricing, Negotiation, Valuation and Fundraising.

According to Sindura Borra, Program Lead of SLP, “The participants will be guided by high calibre mentors, learn with and from talented entrepreneurs and get opportunities to pitch their ideas to venture capitalists. The last date for submitting applications is July 31”.
“The selected entrepreneurs will benefit from the huge network built over the last one decade,” she added.
SLP[ was launched in Boston 2006 by Anupendra Sharma (VC in Lifesciences, BITS Pilani alum) and Puran Dang (Entrepreneur, IIT Kharagpur) with 7 Fellows. It provides a learning platform to develop entrepreneurial skills. SLP Fellows have founded more than 1,300 successful startups including ixigo, Innoz, Momelan, Runkeeper, SideTour, Shareaholic, Ubersense, Savored, Voicetap, and many others, which have collectively raised more than $500M in funding.
