Bombay Shirt Company has raised INR 6.6 crore in their latest round of funding from Patni Group and an undisclosed investor.

Bombay Shirt Company (BSC) was launched in 2012 by Akshay Narvekar. It is the platform which lets customers design their own shirts both online and offline through their two retail outlets in Mumbai.

BSC has raised INR 6.6 crore in their latest round of funding from Patni Group (existing Investor) and an undisclosed investor.

Basis the statement by Akshay, the funds will be used to expand their presence in other cities like Bangalore, New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai etc. plus to make some key hires in the technology space.

Just to add to this development Ankit Vora who was previously associated with Parallel49 Equity has joined BSC as Vice President, Finance, and Business Development.
