Photomath is the world’s smartest camera calculator started by Microblink, a software development company.
Microblink develops computer vision technology for mobile devices. It uses mobile machine vision technology for real time recognition of bills, payment slips, barcode and ID scanning technology, and reading mathematical expressions.
The purpose of Photomath is to read and solve mathematical problems by using the camera of mobile device in real-time. It makes math easy and simple by educating users on how to solve math problems. It gives you a step-by-step approach for solving mathematical equations. Further, it gives you the option of entering math problems using a simple and intuitive keyboard. As one types the mathematical problems ,results appear instantly on-screen.
The PhotoMath app currently supports basic arithmetic, fractions, decimal numbers, linear equations and functions like logarithms. The app does not support handwritten text. It only supports printed problems from math textbooks.
The app is available on Windows, Android and IOS platforms.
File size varies for this application on the basis of platform, for e.g. on Android it is 9 Mb and on IOS it is 51Mb.
