The online fashion market place Voonik has acquired three new startups to build its premium fashion product Vilara. With this the company has now acquired five startups in the past six months. Voonik, which is centered on curated design, is endeavoring to reinforce its administration in the unbranded style portion generally through acqui-contracts or group acquisitions of new companies in specialty style offerings.

The three startups acquired by Voonik are online marketplace for designers and boutiques. Zohraa, which has a team of 12 people, silk store which has a team of eight people, and  Styl, which connects stylists and salons with consumers and has a team of 9 people will now be a part of the new Voonik.

Per Economic Times, Voonik, which raised $5 million last year, from Sequoia Capital and SeedFund, claims to have achieved a $100-million run rate and is aiming to grow four-fold in GMV by the end of this fiscal. A month back, the company acqui-hired menswear focused fashion portal Getsy leveraging on whose expertise, Voonik forayed into the menswear segment with its app, Mr Voonik. It also lapped up four people from the ten-member team from online apparel rental startup Klozee, which shut down operations in January this year.
